Whatever happened with Lady Mordaunt
This beautiful lady was part of one of the hugest scandals in the Victorian Britain. Lady Mourdant was accused in 1870 of adultery, the jugde said she was insane ("Sex Crazy") and was sent to an asylum for the rest of her days (1906). Its said she was mistress of Edward, then prince of Wales, who was witness in the trial against her (tho it wasnt proved that he had more than an "innocent flirt" with her).Harriet (lady Mourdant) had a baby girl in 1869, from her relationship with Lowry Cole, 4th Earl of Enniskillen. The girl was born blind and Lady Mordaunt blamed her daughter`s affliction to a venereal disease. Just when baby Violet was born she confesed her infidelities, not only with Bertie, but with another man...daily and often

Welcome!!
Welcome All!
I ve created this place to share some info but mainly images of royals of the past, who are my current passion. Here you will find great images of some members of the most important european royals houses such as the Windsors, Habsburg , Romanov, among other. Also you will find interesting links to learn more about them. Also, i pretend to create an educational place to warn and teach "newbies " in royal matters to be careful of what they buy on Ebay since there are rats willing to profit with naive people selling common people`s images as royals.
Also, sometimes i will include some images of modern royals i love, like Gloria von Thurn of Taxis, one of my favs modern princess!
As you can all see, english its not my primary language so i will do my best to be clear in all what i write.
Welcome and Enjoy!!
Mimi.
